Investigators with the Mobile Fire Marshal’s office are seeking the whereabouts of Willie Sneed, 27. Sneed is wanted for questioning reference to several fires that occurred at the Murray Hill Court Apartment Complex located off Duval Street. The fires occurred in at least three different apartments on Wednesday, October 31, 2007. The first fire was reported at approximately 8:31 a.m. in apartment 1219 A and caused an estimated $30 thousand in damage. The occupants were not home at the time of the fire.

A second fire was reported at approximately 10:49 a.m. at apartment 1234 A which was vacant at the time of the fire and caused an estimated $5 thousand in damage.

Firefighters and Fire Investigators were called back to the complex a third time the same day at approximately 6:57 p.m. for a small fire in the back of apartment 1214, damage was estimated at $1 thousand.

Sneed is described as an African-American Male, 5’ 10” weighing approximately 177 lbs. He has a medium build, brown eyes and black hair. Sneed may suffer from a mental illness.
