A man who spent part of his life serving others has been named Mobilian of the Year for 2007.
Congratulations go out to Robert Edington. He was honored at a ceremony Tuesday night by the Cottage Hill Civitans.
He is currently a lawyer in Mobile, but served the area in the Alabama House of Representatives and as a State Senator.
Mr. Edington also serves as the Director for the Mobile Bar Association Volunteer Lawyers Program.
It provides legal services to people in need.
