The gymnasium at Pensacola Junior College was packed with John McCain supporters Tuesday morning. Senator McCain played off the crowd's patriotic enthusiasm and used Pensacola's strong military ties push his platform on improving medical care for veterans, strengthening U-S forces overseas and offering more support for active troops and their families.

"As President of the United States, I will expand the Army and I will expand the Marine Corps and I will expand other military branches so we can relieve this burden on the National Guard and their families," says McCain.

McCain appeared to have won the crowd the moment he took the stage, but his parting statement was perhaps the most powerful.

"If I have to follow him to the gates of Hell, I will get Osama Bin Laden, I know how to do it and I will get him! As your president, I will get him!"

McCain spoke for less than an hour then boarded a bus and headed to Fort Walton Beach for another political appearance.
