The manhunt for husband who police say shot his common-law wife in the head is now over.
The Escambia County Sheriff's Office says Reginald Smith turned himself around 11 o'clock. He was wanted for the murder of Maryann Spencer.
Deputies say Smith shot Spencer in the head yesterday at their home on Ensley Street, just north of the Pensacola city limits.
The Sheriff's Office asked everyone to stay inside and to lock their doors, until the manhunt was over.
News 5 has a crew in Pensacola and will have the latest on this story tonight on News 5 at 5:00 and 6:00.
