Prichard Police say Joseph James Johnson was making money by stealing and selling copper.Officers are searching for Johnson for a copper theft that took place on December 21 at a waste supply company. Police say $900 in copper was stolen from the business. Detectives believe Johnson is also responsible for several other copper thefts in Prichard and Mobile. Police have learned that he was selling copper and aluminum all year to an area scrap metal company. If you have any information about this man or case, call Prichard Police detectives at 331-4664.
