Lock Your Car Doors…Car break-ins in Harrison Co. Mississippi

People on the Mississippi Gulf Coast may want to double check to see if their car doors are locked.

The Hancock County Sheriff's Department is looking into a string of thefts from cars in Waveland and Bay Saint Louis.

Investigators say 35 cases have been reported in the last 2 weeks, in most cases the car doors were unlocked.  

Thieves are taking everything from cash to guns, cameras, and jewelry ...but that's not all.

A Bay Saint Louis man says he stepped outside his house just in time to see his four wheeler being loaded up into a white van and driven away.
