A Mobile County woman scammed for her money...is warning others to watch their bank accounts. Keep Your Eyes On Your Cash

Susan Sullivan says she usually keeps a close eye on her bank statements. But yesterday she says she noticed several charges she didn't catch before. "I never thought once that this would ever happen to me, but it did, "Said Sullivan. Sullivan says she looked over statements for the past couple of months and found out that she was being charged by companies she had never heard of. Sullivan says according to Regions Bank, AMA Health Optical, WC Homeplay and WC Value Plus charged her account from one dollar up to almost fifty dollars multiple times, since January.
Sergeant Matt Dyess with the Citronelle Police Department says it only takes one purchase to give others access to your personal information. Dyess says it was telemarketers who got a hold of Sullivan's information and called her house."According to one of the companies her husband did in fact agree to accepting one of the promotional packages for discount coupons,"Said Dyess. But Sullivan says the authorization to debit her account when her husband spoke with the telemarketer, was never given. "As far as my husband saying yes I would like to purchase this or I would like to put it on a Visa card, this is my numbers, none of that was told,"Said Sullivan.

Citronelle Police Department says according to the Alabama Bureau of Investigation the businesses are in compliance with State standards.
Meantime, Sullivan says she's been in touch with Regions Bank, where her account is setup. She says they are working on reversing the charges.
