MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - The Alabama Court of Judiciary has
removed a jailed judge from office.
The court ruled Thursday against Circuit Judge Stuart DuBose of
Clarke County. The court spent Wednesday listening to testimony
about how DuBose had abused drugs and violated the standards of
conduct for judges. The court began deliberations Thursday morning.
DuBose was not in court in Montgomery because he is in the
Baldwin County Jail on a federal charge of possessing as many as 30
guns in violation of a restraining order.
In court, the prosecution portrayed him as a drug-abusing judge
who misused the power of his office. The defense argued
unsuccessfully that the court should delay the proceedings until
DuBose got a thorough mental evaluation.

I can’t believe people feel sorry for this sorry excuse of a man!!!  There are more stories to be told here...trust me...and he did NOT act alone!  He had help because he was too drugged up and drunk to carry out the things he did alone! The only people who need our prayers are his ex-wife and children.  Hope he likes hot places...because its bound to be VERY hot (not tropical) where he’s going!

this has been a rough case from the get go. this guy has a real history. a lot of it SHOULD NOT be in the news but it is. the charges they are holding him on sound trumped up. and the judiciary’s complaint sounded overloaded as well. not to say he was fit to be a judge but its a lot of overkill to further humiliate a belittled man’ and his family. he’s got no job, he’s gonna loose 1/2 his stuff at least, and his family is estranged from him now. send him to the islands and leave him alone for a while. funny they arrested him as he was getting out of treatment.
good luck dubose, and even more, hearts, thoughts and prayers to the family, all of you.

I know what your saying Sweetnsour, but in my opinion this gentleman has already had to many days in court. And to Asda on the math evaluation for the school board, that would be impossible to do, because you have to have something to work with to start the evaluation process. The basic math skills are not there!

Well as far as I can see it he did not get his day in court.  Everyone should have a right to properly defend himself. They will probably rule on a continuance because he was not legally available, and they should.....

I think quite a few judges here in Mobile need a mental evaluation after seeing the way they rule on cases.  While we are at it can we do a math evaluation at the Mobile County School Board?

I have no idea what would happen to his cases, But from his photo he doesn’t look real worried about his fate, recon he knows something we don’t ?

So if he’s found guilty...what happens to the cases he’s ruled on? Do those people get another trial?
