ESPN's top ranked player in the country is Bama bound. And, Crimson Tide fans are already jonesin for Julio.
Foley high school football star, Julio Jones, made the announcement today, and Alabama fans couldn't be happier about it. They're hoping Julio's got what it takes and that his arrival on campus will mean even better recruiting classes in the future as well as a national championship one day.
The newly crowned Julio Nation also includes a former walk on for the Tide, Zack Ashbee. Ashbee is now the president of the Mobile chapter of the National Alumni Association for the University of Alabama. "We really have not had that great of success locally in the Mobile area over the last 4 to 6 years. We lost Jamarcus Russell to LSU, which Nick Saban's the one that took him away from here, so, we're really glad that he's able to kinda lock down the local area because there's a lot of talent in Mobile."
