Mobile native Joey Jones officially took on the duties of head football coach at the University of South Alabama during a press conference this morning.Jones brings a total of 11 years of coaching experience with him.
He spent one year at Birmingham Southern after heading up the Mountain Brook High School football program for 10 years.
Jones grew up in Mobile, attending Murphy High School before going on to star at the University of Alabama.
