A Conecuh County judge sentenced Jack Wiley to three consecutive life sentences for raping a 3-year-old girl and her 17-year-old brother.Last month, a jury found Wiley guilty on two counts of rape and one count of sodomy. He was arrested in 2006, along with the children's mother, Glenna Cavender. She pleaded guilty last summer to lesser charges.
During today's sentencing hearing, two counselors testified about their conversations with the two victims.
When the Judge asked Wiley if he had anything to say before he handed down the sentence, Wiley said “I better pass.”
Wiley plans to appeal the sentence, once he hires a new attorney.
