Escambia County Florida Sheriff's investigators believe an escaped inmate has kept pretty busy since walking away from a work detail Monday.Patrick Robinson is believed to have dumped the van he allegedly stole from a day care. Investigators say he called a friend to come pick him up, She didn't show, so investigators say he went to see her.
"Somebody had gotten in the doggie door in the back of the house and reached up and gotten in stole cash credit cards and then took off again and we believe it was him," said Glenn Austin, Sheriff's Office PIO.
Robinson was jailed for grand theft and property crimes. He had been an inmate at the county's road camp where another inmate escaped the week before.
