The driver of an 18 wheeler was taken to the hospital early this morning after he wrecked on I-10. The accident happened shortly after 2am this morning in the eastbound lanes of the interstate between Dauphin Island Parkway and the I-65 interchange. The 18 wheeler overturned. Police believe that the driver lost control of the truck. No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
