CLEARWATER, Fla. (AP) - Celebrity wrestler Hulk Hogan's son has
been arrested on charges stemming from a street racing crash that
left a passenger in his car critically injured.
Clearwater police say 17-year-old Nick Bollea turned himself
today on charges of reckless driving involving serious bodily
injury.
Bollea is being booked in to the Pinellas County Jail.
The August crash happened when Bollea was street racing and he
lost control of his 1998 Toyota Supra. The Viper struck a curb and
spun across two lanes of traffic before slamming rear-end first
into a palm tree. The car Bollea was driving was owned by his
famous father and was totaled.
Bollea's passenger, 22-year-old John Graziano, was critically
injured in the wreck.
Attorneys say Graziano has been deemed incapacitated.

How can you say that just because Nick is a minor that his parents are totally responsible?  If you have ever watched their show you would know that they appear to be very good parents.  Are you trying to pretend that when you were 17 that you were an angel?  Come on, the vast majority of us were not.  We have all done things as teenagers that we knew our parents would most definitely would not approve of.  We can all raise our children to be responsible adults that know right from wrong, however we can also expect that our children will act like children.  I do believe that he should be held accountable for his actions, however it is not fair to blame the parents just because they are famous and have money.  I am sure they will step up to the plate and handle this situation in a mature, responsible way.  Everyone is so quick to sue everyone else just for money.  Money will not change the situation that has happened and by suing the parents will not teach Nick a lesson.  The bottom line is that Nick is ultimately responsible and I am quite sure he will be dealt with appropriately.

Bollea deserves all he gets and more.  Graziano’s family should sue him for all the family is worth.  Being a minor his parents are at fault and partly to blame.  Though this 17 yo is not innocent.
