When Escambia County deputies arrived at a Bush Garden Mobile Home Park, it surprised maintenance man Dean Williamson "Two officers pulled and and they were looking for the sex offender." They were expecting to pick up Ian Winchester for not registering as a sex offender and they did says Williamson, "For some reason the fool let them in the house and they saw they had a meth lab."
But that wasn't all, "They were also involved in a bunch of burglaries they took a bunch of stolen goods out of the house," says Williamson.
Along with the working meth lab and several items investigators believe were stolen the Escambia County Sheriffs office found something else. Something no one expected.
"Can I play one?" Danny Lyons' hand-bells. "The bells look in remarkable shape for what they've been through they are still even pretty shiny."
We first told you about Lyons Wednesday and how someone had stolen the bells from his S-U-V.
I'm very delighted, it's like having Christmas returned."
It maybe the only happy ending in a situation Williamson could have had a very different ending. "If that blew it was enough to take out this whole park."
Escambia County investigators are looking for three other suspects in connection with the Meth lab and the burglaries.
Ian Winchester faces charges of failing to register as a sex offender and various drug charges.
