MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - Mobile attorney Bob Sherling, Junior has
been appointed by Governor Bob Riley to a vacancy on the Mobile
County District Court created by the recent retirement of Judge
Judson Wells.
A 1974 graduate of the Cumberland School of Law, the 61-year-old
Sherling holds master's and bachelor's degrees from Auburn
University. He has practiced law since 1975 and is currently a
partner at Sherling & York in Mobile.
Sherling's appointment, announced Tuesday, is effective
immediately.
