NEW YORK (AP) - Prices at the pump have risen above $3.36 a
gallon, another record. The AAA and Oil Price Information Service
report a rise of eight-tenths of a cent overnight.
AAA Alabama's daily survey shows the price for regular is
unchanged from Thursday at $3.26 a gallon. But midgrade fuel rose a
penny to $3.49 a gallon. Premium remains at $3.59 while diesel fuel
rose two-cents to $3.95 a gallon.
Meanwhile, light, sweet crude for May delivery fell 77 cents to
109.26 at midday on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Crude hit a
record on Wednesday at just under $111 a barrel.

I have to pay over $7.00 a gallon for what is equal to regular unleaded. It is 1.74 Swiss francs for a litre here in Zurich. I am thanful for the mass transportation system but it too is becoming more expensive.
