for the Washington Redskins safety on Monday at Florida
International University in Miami.
Florida police say Taylor's shooting death appears to have been
a random burglary. They say there was no indication Taylor knew his
assailant. Taylor was shot once in the upper leg and died early
yesterday after losing a tremendous amount of blood.
Police are still investigating a possible link to a break-in
earlier this month at Taylor's home. Someone pried open a front
window, rifled through drawers and left a kitchen knife on a bed.
In Virginia, the Redskins have held their first practice since
Taylor's death. Taylor's family met with teammates at Redskins
Park, where mourners have created a memorial for Taylor.
