A Mardi Gras King was arrested over the weekend for armed robbery. Mobile Police say Jajuan Holmes and Tim Hall Junior robbed the Moffett Road Dairy Queen Saturday night. A Mobile Area Mardi Gras Association member confirms Hall was this year's MAMGA juvenile court king and the son of a Mobile judge. We talked with one Dairy Queen employee who called the restaurant Saturday to talk to her 16 year old son who was working there that night. But, instead of talking to him, she says she listened in as the terrifying robbery was taking place,"they laid the phone down and then you know I could hear everything that was going on. I was going hello, hello, and I never got any response from anybody and then I heard the gunshots and then of course I thought the worst then because I couldn't hear them, they wasn't talking back," said Dairy Queen employee, Sonya Thrasher. Thrasher is just glad no one was hurt. As for Holmes and Hall, both teens are charged with robbery. Holmes is also charged with two other armed robberies.
