Florida Street Businesses Sue City

Lawsuit Construction A construction project continues to slow traffic on Florida Street in Mobile. Now 10 businesses are suing the City of Mobile and Volkert Construction Services.

Several Florida Street business owners are joining forces and filing suit against the City of Mobile. In a copy of the suit obtained by News 5, the suit alleges the construction project has hurt businesses. The papers claim many have received irreparable damage. City officials have not commented on the suit. It was filed on February 1st.
