Wanted For Murder

The search for a man who deputies say gunned down his business partner in Florida ended in Baldwin County.
Luis Vargas is accused of shooting and killing Mariela Escudero in Oakland Park, Florida.
Sheriff's deputies told News Five that the two were arguing before the shooting.
Vargas took off with his niece where their car broke down in Spanish Fort off Interstate Ten.
When officers responded, they didn't have a reason to arrest the two but noticed something wasn't quite right when the niece's name, Laura Olaya, showed up as a missing person.
"We're pretty sure that something was up and something was going on but couldn't quite put their finger on what it was and didn't have anymore information at that time. But after the alert came through, they quickly put things together," said Spanish Fort Police Chief David Edgar.
Vagas will soon head back to florida to face charges of murder.
Laura Olaya is still behind bars in Baldwin County.
She's charged with hindering the investigation.
