Mobile Fire Investigators say that a Tuesday night fire on South Ann Street was caused by an electrical short.
Investigators say the fire originated in the kitchen wall and that the occupants of the apartment tried, without success, to put it out.
No one was hurt.
Damage is extimated at $25,000.
