They lost everything they owned in a house fire.
Tucker said he was home alone Friday afternoon when he heard a knock on the door.
He said he didn't know it at the time, but the roof of his house was on fire.
Tucker said a stranger said," 'Man, your house is on fire.' I said, 'My keys, my wallet,' Oh, no, he grabs me and throws me over his shoulder and out the house we come."
Tucker wasn't hurt, but the house where he, his wife, their daughter, and their two grandchildren lived was destroyed.
Tucker's wife Debra said, "I don't know at this point what we're going to do or where we're going."
Debra Tucker has a job, but James Tucker is on disability.
Diabetes forced doctors to amputate his foot.
Tucker got around on a scooter, but he said he lost the scooter in the fire, too.
Tucker is an elder in a church that's right next door to where his house stood.
He said, "That's what keeps me going, knowing that there's better coming. I serve a God that can do anything, anything. He's an awesome God."
