PENSACOLA, Fla. (AP) - The Air Force issued an alert to local residents and fishermen Friday afternoon asking anyone with debris from Wednsday's F-15 crash to contact law enforcement or the military.
26-year-old 1st Lt. Ali Jivanjee was killed when he collided with another jet during a training flight over the Gulf of Mexico. The pilot of the second jet ejected and survived in good condition.
Eglin Air Force Base said it will resume its routine training flights Monday.
