Last week, the national tv show came and and told the family that it was going to build them a brand new home.
For the past week, volunteers have been working around the clock to make good on their promise.
Friday the Gaudet's got a chance to see their dream house.
Family members told News Five the gift was well deserved.
"It's overwhelming. I don't know. It's hard to put into words because they lived in a little, thousand square foot house for about 25 years. Ten people and one bathroom and this is a miracle. That's what it is. It's unbelievable," said Lydia Gaudet's father Bill Smith.
The Gaudet's now have a 3,400 square foot home with five bedrooms and three bathrooms.
It took volunteers four days to build the house, which usually would take three months.
