juvenile detention center near Montgomery is in custody.
The U.S. Marshals Service said Glenn Eugene Herrmann III was
arrested Wednesday night at a motel in Laurel, Mississippi.
Montgomery County Sheriff, D.T. Marshall said Herrmann was found
hiding in a bathroom. The boy escaped Tuesday afternoon from the
facility in Mount Meigs.
The sheriff said Herrmann will be held in Jones County,
Mississippi, until he is extradited to Maryland, where he's wanted
on a first-degree murder charge. Herrmann was being held in the
Alabama center on a burglary charge.
