Mobile Police say a Popeye's Chicken employee left the back door open for a man who robbed the store and beat the manager with a metal bar. Employee Helps Robber Rip Off Store

Mobile Police have arrested a Popeye's employee for his role in the robbery of the store.
According to police, William Simmons, the manager of the Popeye's at 1966 Government Blvd., was working Saturday night around 11:30, when a masked man came in through the back door. He grabbed a metal bar and beat Simmons, then pulled out a handgun and demanded money.
Investigators say an employee, Ali Alallah, knows the robber and left the back door open for him. Alallah is charged with robbery. Police are still looking for his accomplice.
