Prichard police arrested a 65-year-old woman they say has been selling painkillers and muscle relaxers for six months. Elderly Woman Dealing Prescription Pills

She's old enough to collect social security. But Prichard police say she's still working the presciption drug circuit.

Police arrested 65-year-old Marvely Blackwell Saturday afternoon in the parking lot of the Burger King on Hwy 90 in Tillmans Corner. Narcotics officers say she was in the process of selling a large amount of Loritab and Soma pills.

Police believe Blackwell has been selling the pills for at least six months. The question is where she got them. Loritab is a pain killer and Soma is a muscle relaxer. Both must be prescribed by a doctor.

More arrests are expected once police determine who supplied Blackwell with the pills.
