MIAMI BEACH, Fla. (AP) - Actor Mickey Rourke has been arrestedon suspicion of driving under the influence in Miami Beach.
The star of "Angel Heart" and "9 1/2 Weeks" was arrested
early this morning and booked at the Miami-Dade County Jail. A jail
spokeswoman says he's being held on $1,000 bond, but is in the
process of posting bail.
A Miami Beach Police report says Rourke made a U-turn with a red
light and then swerved several times on a green scooter. He had a
flushed face and bloodshot, watery eyes and his speech was slurred.
The report also says his breath smelled of alcohol.
Rourke allegedly failed field-sobriety tests before being taken
to headquarters. He also failed an alcohol breath test.
His agent could not be reached for comment.
