TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) - Watching Alabama football on a fallSaturday afternoon is a favorite pastime in Tuscaloosa.
And now fans won't have to wait until after the game to munch on
food from one of Tuscaloosa's favorite restaurants, Dreamland.
Officials with Crimson Tide Sports Marketing say barbecue from
Dreamland will be added to the concession stands at Bryant-Denny
Stadium beginning with the Sept. 6 game against Western Kentucky.
But fans looking for Dreamland's signature ribs still will have
to visit the original Tuscaloosa restaurant or one of various
locations around the state. The stadium fare will include
sandwiches, barbecue nachos, banana pudding and other items.
Officials said the Dreamland items will be available at five of
the stadium's 50 concession stands.
