A chase through part of Escambia County, Florida leaves three people under arrest on felony charges. The Escambia County, Florida Sheriff's Office says Delarian Young, Terrance McNeil and Jabaar Carson are charged with cocaine trafficking and fleeing and eluding.
Sheriff's officials released dash camera video of the chase and arrest.
The sheriff's office says deputies answered a call Tuesday night of a man being shot at in the 1700 block of Dauphine Street.
Glenn Austin with the Escambia County, Florida Sheriff's Office says deputies soon spotted a vehicle in the Pensacola Village area matching the description given by the man who was attacked.
Austin says, "We saw this car, and when we turned on the lights and everything, that car sped through this housing project through the yards and everything else. Ultimately, he hit a fence and that's the only thing that stopped him at that point."
Sheriff's Officials say one suspect in the vehicle tried to escape, but was quickly captured.
Austin says, "After we took them into custody, we searched the car, and inside we found a gun, similar to the one that was used in shooting at this other person, and, even more importantly, we found a lot of cocaine underneath the seat."
Sheriff's officials also say the three suspects have a long list of prior arrests.
