Mobile Police confirm a 50-year old Alabama State Docks worker was killed early Saturday morning after a fall on board a ship at the McDuffie Coal terminal.According to authorities, Timothy Huff of Mobile and a Ukranian worker were unloading coal from the ship Celeria when they were overcome by fumes.
The men then reportedly fell into the ship's hold.
The Ukranian was treated and released from the hospital.
Huff was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident remains under investigation.

One of my regular customers works at McDuffie and another is the man that hired Huff. They were there when it happened, I was told that when Huff fell, he suffocated. Hit a spot with no oxygen and it caused him to pass out and break his neck. It was just one of those freak accidents.
