Santa has been very busy at the North Pole, so when he got hundreds of letters from little boys and girls, he asked some of his helpers at the post office to help mark off who's been naughty or nice.News 5 got a chance to read some of the letters and we found that children were not shy in their requests!
"Dear Santa, I have been very good this year. For christmas I would like a baby doll sitter, choo-choo train, baby doll clothes," wrote Emily Williamson.
Santa knows everything -- even when someone hasn't been on his or her best behavior.
He's not surprised when he sees a child making promises to change their ways.
"Dear Santa, I promise to be better. I promise not to talk back to mommy and daddy if you will come to by house," wrote Huntlee Hall.
"I have been good at school and bad at home. I am going to try to be good," wrote a child.

Hi Ms. Peyton,
Wow, what a wonderful story! I am sure all the children are glued to the news as I did when I grew up. I hope you continue to keep up the good work. I enjoyed the entire segment. Please air it again at 10:00 p.m.
Thank you,
Mrs. Milton
