The Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office has identified Forty-seven year old Gulf Breeze resident Charles Scott Boylan as the man found dead this afternoon in front of a home on Balogh Drive in Gulf Breeze. The Sheriff's Office says it is interviewing people and gathering evidence surrounding his death. No further information is being released at this time.

The Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office is on the scene of a deadly shooting in Gulf Breeze.
Around 4:00 p.m., a mail man was found a man lying dead in the front yard of a home on Balogh Drive. Deputies say the man died "from an obvious gunshot wound." At this point, they are called the death suspicious.
The victim's name will not be released until the next of kin has been notified.
