A school spokesperson says Thomas has filed a written notice to contest the action to terminate him.
The written notice means that within the next seven days, a hearing officer will be selected.
If the parties are unable to agree, a panel of arbitrators will be selected to appoint a hearing officer.
The Chancellor of Alabama's Two-Year College System ordered that Thomas be fired from Bishop State because. Bradley Byrne says he doesn’t want a convicted felon on the payroll.

I can agree with Bradley Byrnes decision. I would not want a felonist working at a school that my children are attending. Keep him out and force him to work else where. Just not at a school!!! This man has no place in the educational field. Degree or no degree.....
