Police say they are looking for three suspects who they believe were involved in robbing the Dauphin Island Parkway BP Service Station at gunpoint and taking off with cash. Police say two suspects got into an argument with Chandu Bathulla, a BP employee, after he asked them to leave when he noticed they were loitering. That is when police say a third armed suspect came in."He came inside and kept the gun over here and then he asked me to open the drawer. I opened it, he took the money and hit me here and just ran off," said, Bathulla.
Two witnesses who would like to remain anonymous, say they pulled up to the service station while the robbery was taking place. The two women, tell News Five they decided to help Bathulla out when they saw he needed help.
"There was blood coming down from his forehead , I mean on his side, he had a gash and I asked him was he Ok, "said, a witness. "I just hate to see good people get taken advantage of. And I just felt like I needed to try to do something as a citizen to try to help out. So I did,"said, a witness.
