Mike Crocker didn't appear in court this morning but his lawyer entered a not guilty plea for him.
Yesterday, a judge denied bond to Crocker, saying he was a flight risk.
Crocker is charged with taking more than $200,000 from his business Vulcan Industrial Services.
He is also a suspect in the murder of his co-worker Stephen Perret.
No charges have been filed in that case.
Crocker will be back in court December.
