Mobile Police arrested a convicted sex offender accused of sending text messages to an 11 year old girl.
After the girl's mother called police, an undercover officer posed as the 11 year old.
The officer talked with 39 year old Richard Brooks Nelson on the phone.
During that call, police say Nelson made statements that were sexual in nature and then agreed to meet "the girl."
Richard Brooks Nelson was arrested and charged with enticing a minor for immoral purposes.
