I don’t understand why Ludacris “supporters” are so surprised at the attitudes of Ludacris “non-supporters”. Come on people, wake up. Don’t you realize that you live in Mobile, Alabama. Nothing whatsoever would be said if the city had booked Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan, Marilyn Manson, Paris Hilton or someone like that. These are their kind of upstanding, wholesome, high moral having type of entertainers. It would be totally acceptable for their children to see one of these performers.

I feel like if you don’t want to support the artist don’t support that artist. There are all types of music for all types of people, If you don’t like it… Oh well. Then again it may all stem from jealousy. Stop the haterism becase you may not have his funds or his style...... In the end he’s still getting PAID!!! Most of the talk has been about what he represents but look at what the “president” represents.... but no one is speaking on that.

I think having Ludacris is all about selling tickets and has nothing to do with family.  He is popular and is definately a draw.  Yes he will clean up his act for the show...but by using our money to hire him we are actually supporting him when he doesn’t have a clean act.  When I ride down the road or am in a parking lot and hear him I am angry that someone can invade my space with the trash.  So what are we telling our children and grandchildren by paying this person to “entertain” us....no I don’t approve of my money spent that way.

I live in Montgomery and the same “reservations” were concluded about Ludacris playing in our city’s annual “Jubilee”....

His handlers promised a family friendly act and that is exactly what we had.....
