A Congressional candidate is in hot water after investigators say he was soliciting more than just votes.
A two week undercover prostitution sting landed 75 people in jail including Ben Lodmell, 36.
Lodmell is challenging Congressman Jo Bonner, District one, in the November election. But before he faces Bonner, Lodmell will likely face a judge.
Investigators say they were acting on complaints from the community when Lodmell was arrested Thursday night at a Daphne Hotel. Lodmell, who has a wife and school age children, did not return phone calls or emails about his arrest Monday. His attorney, Dennis Knizley, said he could not comment on the case because he had not yet seen the police report. Knizley did say his client will continue his campaign for Congress.
“He’s a committed candidate,” said Knizley. “He’s put a lot of his personal money in this and he intends to go forward with his campaign,” Knizley said.
Investigators say Lodmell is charged with prostitution, a Class A misdemeanor.

The newspaper said the fake ads were placed in their paper as part of the sting operation but they are not part of the sting operation, they just sell ads to customers. OK so the newspaper is not on the side of the law? They are on the side of the escort services that use abuse and drug addiction to manipulate young women as sex slaves placing fale escort ads?
