68-year-old Charles Dagget of Gulf Shores and his friend Thomas Edwards, 66, of St. Petersburg, Fla. are missing. Dagget's wife called the Coast Guard on Monday. She says her husband and Edwards should have already arrived in Corpus Christi, Tex. Now Coast Guard search crews are scouring the entire Intracoastal Waterway from Corpus Christi to Clearwater, Fla. in hopes of finding the men. The Coast Guard says that they are on the lookout for a 35-foot Pearson sailboat called the Fly Away. It has the Alabama registration number AL1644AG. The sailboat has a maroon hull and white superstructure with white sails.

Coast Guard jet crews, planes, and smallboats from Gulfport, Pascagoula, Dauphin Island, Mobile, Pensacola, Destin, and Panama City are all out on Gulf waters. Anyone with helpful information can call the Coast Guard Command Center at 504.589.6225.
