The school's principal says a new contractor took over the cleaning process.
They had to wait on the proper permits to get started.
The school's campus was exposed to lead paint in January.
Second graders, fourth graders and fifth graders are holding classes at local churches.
The school says crews will be back at work at the end of this week.
The remaining grades will not move back on campus until the first of April, after state testing.
