Mobile Police say they are questioning multiple people in connection with a shooting that seriously injured a 6-year-old little boy. But, no one has been arrested yet. The shots were fired at a stop sign at Gloria York Avenue and Donald Street around 9:30 Monday night. Police say the child and 23-year-old Tyrone Smith were both hit at least twice while in separate cars,"what we have are three different cars stopped at a stop sign and gunfire erupted and unfortunately a young boy, a 6-year-old boy, was struck as well as an adult male," said Mobile Police spokesperson, Nancy Johnson. While Johnson won't confirm the type of gun used in the shooting, a Police dispatcher told News 5 Monday night, they believed it may have been an AK-47.
