An obscene phone call to a woman in Mobile leads to a child porn arrest in southern California. The woman contacted police February 11th after receiving several calls from a man who told her, in graphic detail, how he sexually abused his 3-year-old niece. The woman recorded one of those calls and gave the tape to police.
Detective Mona Wade tracked down the caller in Hesperia, California. She called the FBI which raided the man's home last Wednesday.
Agents found more than 20 porn movies and magazines inside Jayson Brown's home. However, none of them showed any children.
When the FBI dumped Brown's phone records, agents discovered he had made numerous obscene phone calls to women in several states. Brown allegedly told a teenage girl in Montana that he wanted her to help him kidnap a child to sexually abuse. A victim in Florida received a picture on her cell phone of a girl under the age of 10 performing oral sex. The FBI says Brown called yet another woman and said he knows where she lives and that he would do to her kids what he did to his niece.
Brown is charged with Two counts of distribution of child pornography, two counts of distributing harmful matter to a minor, and one count of making criminal threats.
