My child was hit by a car one time.  The Lady was scared and asked by son if he was okay.  He was embarrased because he did walk out into the street and thought he would be in trouble.  He told her he was okay and came limping home.  I noticed something wasn’t quiet right.  He tried to take care of it and she thought he was okay.  Well I took him to the ER and got a few stitches and when I saw her at the school I approached her and she was in tears.  I said hey stuff happens that was not your fault he is fine and you did not anticipate him jumping into oncoming traffic, could you have at least brought him home and talked to me....... lessons learned.
