Tina Neylon says the company she works for adopted 150 of them this year."I just wish everybody would do their part, it doesn't take much just dip into your pocket and make some little child happy,"Said Tina Neylon.
With their eyes on the clock, the Porroux's say they were not going to pass up their chance to brighten someone's Christmas.
"I get a lot and just wanted to give someone else something," Said Jessica Porroux.
There were 3,400 angels up for adoption this year but the Salvation Army says there are still over 500 of them waiting to make their way back, so volunteers can start handing them out.
"I think the reason that we're nervous is that usually we've had little bit higher rate of return at this point. But on the other hand we've gotten all the angels adopted. The best thing for us right now, is to get them in so that we will know exactly what we're dealing with, what, how many children we have to go out and supply the presents for", Said Christina Watts, The Salvation Army.
The Salvation Army says if you have missed the deadline, you can still arrange to drop off your gift before the distribution begins.
You can reach the Salvation Army at 251-438-1625.
