For the second time in less than a week, capital murder suspect Eric Buzbee wore a bullet-proof vest as deputies led into the Baldwin County Courthouse. Buzbee was indicted last week on two counts of capital murder in the death of Spanish Fort businessman Bobby Wilson. Today during his arraignment, Buzbee plead not guilty.

"Eric absolutely maintains his innocence," says Buzbee's attorney John Beck. "You heard him in open court today tell the entire world that he did not do this."

"The case will be presented to a jury," says Baldwin County District Attorney Judy Newcomb. "From here, the judge will be entering scheduling orders and motions will be heard then we'll go to trial."

Buzbee's attorney also filed nine motions during the arraignment today, including "re-filing" the motion to suppress evidence collected in the search of Buzbee's home last year.

They already found one jury that said yes..... I think that he will be convicted and I hope that they give him the death penality ........ Mr. Wilson was a wonderful person that did not deserve this at all .....

The grand jury indicted him, that make’s him guilty, that’s what you are saying. They apparently know something we don’t, I guess. But, until the jury says guilty he is innocent. They will have a hard time finding an impartial jury in this county. Which is full of us country hicks.

ERic not guilty,
You are clearly a member of this sick country hicks family!!!You are quick to call Mr. Patrick a “DRUG DEALER” but look who makes him and his kind able to carry this title!!!!Eric has some kind of problem,I did read all info on that website and everyone who said that he could never do such a thing ....was his friends and family!!!Mr. patrick knew Mr. Wilsons habits and so did ERIC!!!!HE EVEN SAID THAT MR. WILSON WAS GOING TO MAKE HIM ROB HIM!!!!So maybe YOU should look at all all the evidence!!!!!!!Or maybe you like short tempered crack heads roaming the free world!!!!

I do not know the young man or his family. So it’s alright to come on this site and declare him guilty, hang him high or whatever, but not to point out the discreptancies in the case, or “defend him”. What happened to innocent until proven guilty.

I just want this to go to trial and then we will all find out the truth. But it does burn me up that people come on here and try and defend him when all the evidence points to him .... It sounds to me like you are all part of his family and trying to mess with the jury pool

And before you say anything read the link you are pointing to that says he was arrested with the crack pipes
