Buzbee Pleads “Not Guilty”

For the second time in less than a week, capital murder suspect Eric Buzbee wore a bullet-proof vest as deputies led into the Baldwin County Courthouse. Buzbee was indicted last week on two counts of capital murder in the death of Spanish Fort businessman Bobby Wilson. Today during his arraignment, Buzbee plead not guilty.

"Eric absolutely maintains his innocence," says Buzbee's attorney John Beck. "You heard him in open court today tell the entire world that he did not do this."

"The case will be presented to a jury," says Baldwin County District Attorney Judy Newcomb. "From here, the judge will be entering scheduling orders and motions will be heard then we'll go to trial."

Buzbee's attorney also filed nine motions during the arraignment today, including "re-filing" the motion to suppress evidence collected in the search of Buzbee's home last year.

The only information that I have is public knowledge. I just formed a different opinion than you and since we disagree you seem to think I am out to get this guy. When in fact I am out to get who ever is responsible for Mr. Wilson’s Death. Which I believe is Eric Buzzbee based on the information currently available and which was strong enough that a grand jury indicited him on murder charges.

I’m beginning to think with all the inside information the two of you have, that assures you of his guilt, that maybe the two of you should also be questioned. At least then you could have a ring side seat to the possibility of wrongful accusation.

Tragedy for both families?If he would have never decided to rob the man,then this would not even have been an issue!!!Yes this is a tragedy for the Wilson family but the Buzbee’s?!NO WAY!!!Thank god he is off the streets!!!!

The only thing I wish and hope for is that Eric and his new boyfriend in jail had a happy valentines day together. And hopefully will have many more to come for the rest of his life in Jail.

Let this go to trial ,wait for the FACTS, and then run your mouths. Then none of us appear to be hicks. Make your sentiments useful and PRAY for both families. This is a tragedy for them both.
