"We're still getting information on different people not just Mr. Buzbee," says Major Anthony Lowery with the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office. "We're looking at that information to check on other possibilities and other people."
Last week, Sheriff Hoss Mack named Buzbee a person of interest in the Wilson case. Investigators seized items from his Spanish Fort mobile home and sent them to a crime lab. Buzbee has not been charged in the Wilson case.
"We're glad the investigation is proceeding," says Tracey Goens. Goens is Bobby Wilson's daughter. "We were startled and upset when we read the affividavit and the information that was in there. My father is a good person and didn't deserve this."
Evidence from the crime lab could be back in the hands of the sheriff's office in a few days.
"Once we get that evidence back, we hope to wrap up this case," says Lowery.

New Information In Bobby Wilsons Murder Case

If the police are doing such a good job, why haven’t they made any arrests. They won’t even call Eric Buzbee a suspect. They don’t have any evidence. The affidavit for the search warrant posted on this site is based on hear say and the statement of a crack dealer. If this Kendrick knows so many details, why isn’t he a “person of interest”. I thought our justice system was based on people being presumed innocent until proven guilty. But thanks to WKRG and judging by all the comments posted, Eric Buzbee has already been tried and convicted. Maybe all of you who are praying so fervently for Mr. Wilson should do some soul searching and also pray for the Buzbee family who have been crucified in the news before a fair trial has been given. I pray that the police find the right person and not just a scape goat to satisfy the community.
