Bomb Scare At Georgia Capitol

Atlanta Investigation Atlanta police ordered evacuations and blocked off roads after a bomb scare at the State Capitol.

Atlanta officials have called off a bomb threat that occurred near the Georgia State Capitol Building this morning. A suspicious package was found near the Capitol, and authorities blocked off roadways,ordered an evacuation, and brought in a bomb-detecting robot. Ultimately, police officials completed their investigation after determining the suspicious package contained cd's and other music items.
